Arkas Sanat Alacati’s first temporary exhibition titled 'New Lands' was prepared by compiling from 29 private collections under the curatorship of Dr. Necmi Sonmez. The exhibition offers 157 pieces of work from 155 young artists under the age 40, enriched with various tendencies, including works created with different techniques such as painting, sculpting, patterns, photographs, videos and installation.

'New Lands' is a periodic exhibition that reveals the potential of the young artist generation. The 157 experimental works in the exhibition represent the perspectives of the young artists from different geographies regarding the different economic, social and cultural environments they are in, without being divided into certain groups, techniques or movements, each poetic and brave. It creates a country of images by redrawing dreams, rules, borders and dates. By doing so, 'New Lands' exhibition invites the audience to discover new geographies through the metaphors used in the works of each artist, opening them up for discussion institutionally for the very first time.

Although the exhibition has an international character, it offers a collection that predominantly comprises work by artists from Turkiye. In addition, it also reveals the potential of the city it is located in by bringing together the most striking examples of the poetic and confident attitude of artists from Izmir with the audience.
