GROUP EXHIBITION | RADICAL SHAPESHIFTERS, KUNSTHAL MECHELEN, MECHELEN

Zeynep Kubat is the first curator to organise an exhibition at Kunsthal Mechelen with an answer to what it means to be radical. The term ‘radical’ is often associated with religious, ideologic or political extremism, which conveys a negative perception ofviolence and destruction. At the same time it’s radical individuals and movements which helped shape history, society, politics, culture, fashion, art and more.
The artists showcased in this exhibition demonstrate the diverse ways in which radical transformations can shape both ourselves andour environments.
